The Installation Process
Our Greenville, NC Ductless installers will first come out to your home for a free estimate. They’ll take a look at various factors, such as the size of your home, your energy usage needs, and your comfort preferences, to name a few. Then, they’ll get started installing a custom system.
Ductless mini-split ACs includes two units: an indoor and an outdoor unit. Our installers will mount the indoor unit inside your home. Depending on your needs and preferences, you may wish to have multiple indoor units installed, though one is typically sufficient to cool an average-sized home.
The indoor unit is connected to the outdoor unit via a series of cables and the refrigerant line. To connect the two units, our installer will drill a very small hole, no more than three inches, in the wall. The entire process takes very little time and requires almost no alterations to your home.
